Verbs. Accent patterns

1. Russian verbs have three accent patterns in the present and perfective future tenses.
2. Accent always on the stem:

   я	играю
   ты	играешь
   он, она	играет
   мы	играем
   вы	играете
   они	играют

3. Accent always on the ending:

   я	говорю
   ты	говоришь
   он, она	говорит
   мы	говорим
   вы	говорите
   они	говорят

4. Infinitive and first person singular are end stressed. In the rest of the forms accent moves one syllabe back to the stem:

   я	смотрю
   ты	смотришь
   он, она	смотрит
   мы	смотрим
   вы	смотрите
   они	смотрят
