Colloquium 1 Information

1. You can take Colloquium 1 ONLY if you have turned in at least three assignments with a passing grade AND if you have not been absent from class more than three times.
2. The Colloquium will consist of questions taken from the reading questions and study guides for each reading assignment.
3. I will give you a set of questions for each reading, and you will be asked to answer only a certain number of them. For example, I may give you 7 questions on a reading and ask you to answer ANY 4 of them. You can select any 4 to which you know the answer.
4. You must answer each questions with a complete and grammatically correct sentence. Each question will be worth 3 points.
5. Your answers must be SPECIFIC to the work in question, and not just a rephrasing of the question.
6. Provide specific examples or facts where required.
7. Your answers should not be longer than 1-2 sentences, depending on the question.
8. I suggest that you read all of the reading assignments that you have not already read and go through the reading questions carefully.
9. Bring your own paper.
