Read section 1.7 on page 9 of the Textbook and learn how to make patronymics from first names. Now do Exercise 3 in this section. You may want to record the names in this exercise and send your recording to the instructor to be checked for accuracy.
How many of these individuals are familiar to you? Do you know the names of any other famous Russians?

Write your name and the names of your friends and relatives in Russian. You should write the names by the way they are pronounced, not by the way they are spelled.
