1.5 NEW LETTERS AND SOUNDS: GROUP B

1. Read section 1.5 on page 8 of the Textbook.
2. Listen and repeat after the speaker the names of the letters in this section until you have familiarized and memorized them. Disk 1, Track 2, or online:
   
3. Do online Exercise 0237. Dictation.
4. Do Exercises A and Б on pages 15-17 of the Workbook. Practice writing the new letters in cursive until you can write them without looking in the Workbook. You may want to send your work to an instructor to be checked for accuracy.
5. Do the online Exercise 0368. Practice saying the names of the Russian letters. This exercise is similar to Exercise AA on page 22 of your Workbook. Here is the location of the audio for that exercise.
   
6. Do the online Exercise 0369. First read the names of the places out loud to yourself. This exercise is similar to Exercise ББ in your Workbook. Here is the location of the audio for that exercise.
